I'm having trouble with the title "Left" in FCPX. I can't seem to be able to change the color of the "Up Next" text. No matter what I select it stays the same color as my background and the opacity is set at 100%. I've even tried opening it in motion and changing the color but I've had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TThere are a lot of Left title, pretty much one for every theme. Which one is it? The themes have quite restricted color schemes.
It's the one with the default text "up next" and "name".
TThat's either Boxes Left or Kinetic Left or Nature Left. Up next in Boxes has no color but is a silhouette that cuts through the bar to show the underlying background image. You should be able to change the color of up next in both Kinetic Left or Nature Left. In Boxes you'd have to either change it in Motion or place a custom color generator underneath it that's the shape of the bar.
You can't change the color of that text be cause it is transparent.
You can, however, obtain the same effect by placing a generator below your title and above the background.
Use the custom generator, trim it so it does not cover anything outside the area of the title, and change the color to your wishes.
